Earlier this year I was asked to head through to Glasgow to shoot a portrait for Runner's World Magazines 'Human Race' feature. I was meeting endurance runner Grant MacDonald (35) who almost a year to the day had suffered a massive brain hemorrhage while out training with his running group the 'Bellahouston Road Runners'. Grant spent 3 weeks in hospital after the freak injury, but miraculously was back out on his, all-be-it small and gentle, first run, 39 days after!
