I was meeting endurance runner Grant MacDonald (35) who almost a year to the day had suffered a massive brain hemorrhage while out training with his running group the 'Bellahouston Road Runners'. Grant spent 3 weeks in hospital after the freak injury, but miraculously was back out on his, all-be-it small and gentle, first run, 39 days after! Grant credits his fitness with his recovery I credit his backbone which must have been forged in steel. Check out the full story in this months Runner's World Magazine.
